Cyber Respect Policy.

The internet has become an integral part of life for all of us, mainly for the better, but issues can sometimes arise with devastating consequences due to the publication of inappropriate or illegal material.

My Life My Legacy believes that places a primary responsibility not only on the person uploading but also the person viewing.

This situation calls for a proactive response by the person offended and potentially a commercial response by My Life My Legacy.

We take our role in controlling these practices very seriously and as such we are implementing our cyber respect policy.

For privacy law reasons My Life My Legacy has no automatic method of monitoring any members saved content, therefore we need you to take the appropriate action.

Roles and Responsibilities.

Therefore, if you find any offensive material on My Life My Legacy it is your primary responsibility to use the “report offensive” material button on any person’s membership location. That material will immediately be blocked, and you and the other members details (but not the content) will be sent to My Life My Legacy along with your reasons for the complaint.

Consequences for inappropriate material.

Should the identified item be identified as serious and potentially illegal then we recommend that you make a formal complaint to the relevant authorities. My Life My Legacy cannot view the offending material as that conduct may also be an offense punishable by law.

Repeated or particularly unsavoury postings (or false reports) may be met with suspension either temporarily or permanently to be decided on a case by case basis.

Should the offending material be very serious then we recommend that you report it to Crime Stoppers in your State or Territory. https://crimestoppers.com.au/
